Hey guys, and welcome to ‘The Vocal Hub’ blog. We’re Jamie and Aisha and are both first years at Warwick University studying History and Psychology respectively. We came up with ‘The Vocal Hub’ to keep you up to date with what’s going on in the student world through debates and discussions, covering a wide range of topics that are important to us as students. Each week, we will be posting two posts as well as braving the radio with our new chat show. Together they will both work hand in hand, making sure you never miss out of your dose of ‘The Vocal Hub’. If you happen to miss the show, this blog also allows you to catch up on what we’ve been discussing. We hope that through the blog and the radio show, we will be able to hear from a wide variety of people and get varying views and perspectives on each topic.
We will be discussing things from ‘The Myths of University’ to our first blog post coming up this week, ‘A Sad Society’, looking at issues of Mental health and how it is dealt with within our society. As well as writing what’s important to us, we always want to hear from you and what your thoughts are on either our posts or things you would like to see.
Basically, it is what it says on the tin… it’s a ‘Vocal Hub’. A ‘Vocal Hub’ that we want everyone to get involved with and enjoy as that is the sole purpose of it all. Through the power of social media you can keep up with all of our antics, to make sure you never miss a post, and get in touch with us easily (check the social media tab on the top of the page).
Thanks for reading and keep your eyes peeled for the next post and more information about the radio show.
